Mount Etna & Taormina:
Your tour day starts with a drive to the great Mount Etna, one the three active volcanoes in Italy and the largest active volcano in Europe. The driver will drop you off at the base of the volcano, where you can take a cable-car to the summit, at a height of 2700 meters. The views from the summit are breathtaking and you will have an opportunity to view this natural wonder up
You will then meet your Driver-Guide to continue with a scenic drive along the coast to Taormina, the world famous resort in Sicily, where you can visit the Greco-Roman theatre and stroll through Corso Umberto, with leisure time to shop or enjoy a delectable Sicilian lunch of pasta and seafood, or indulge in Sicily’s world-renowned cannoli or other pastries, before returning to the port.
Departure from Messina port: 8:00 am. Back to Messina port: 4:00 pm.
Our driver will wait you just outside of the ship with your name written on a clip board.
Your driver/guide will pick you up from the port in the morning and will take you back to the dock in the afternoon.
