The tour of Florence begins at the square of Michelangelo, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. You will stop by the Santa Croce Church, where several of the most famous Italian artists and scientists are buried: (Michelangelo, Donatello and Galileo to name a few). Then continue with a stroll around Signoria Square, where you will see an outdoor gallery displaying Florence’s most famous sculpture (many are copies and the originals are now in museums) and the Palazzo Vecchio, the famous Duomo to see the Baptistery (Ghiberti’s doors were called the Gates of Paradise) and Giotto’s Bell Tower. You will also see The Old Bridge and Pitti Palace and visit the most notable museums of Florence, the “Accademia” where you can see the original statue of David by Michelangelo and numerous other artists and sculptors.

After your visit to Florence, it will be time for a stop in Pisa to visit the world famous “Leaning Tower,” the Duomo, and the Baptistery.
