Pompeii, Sorrento and Pizza
You have the day to explore Pompeii, learn how to make Pizza and see one of the most famous town on the coast, Sorrento.
Starting with Pompeii, the most well known ancient town in the world that was covered by ashes of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.C. and has been captivating archaeologists and visitors from all over the world since excavations began. You’ll see Mt. Vesuvius from a distance, walk through the extensive ruins of Pompeii, and gain knowledge and understanding of everyday life in the ancient times.
Spending part of the morning in Pompeii, we will take you to Sorrento next. Upon your arrival, you are taken directly to the restaurant for your pizza class, learning how to roll out the pizza dough in a special aluminum plates to size out pizza, top it with the ingredients you like, place it inside a wooden oven and set it up on a table for lunch.
In the afternoon you have time to enjoy the rest of the town, seeing the main square and enjoy the most magnificent view of the bay of Naples before heading back to the port.
If you are coming in from the port of Naples, Pompeii or Herculaneum will the last stop before heading to the port.
In case you have already visited Pompeii, you can substitute it with Herculaneum. The site is less famous and smaller, but still harbors a wealth of archeological findings, which include stylish mosaics, ancient advertisement and well preserved house complexes.

*** You can get the tickets to sites on the spot – Euros 18 per person for Pompei and Euros 13 for Herculaneum.

Your English speaking driver will pick you up from the port in the morning and will take you back to the dock in the afternoon.
